Last year, the Kitchen Rainmakers mobilized our community for climate justice. Our successes included:
Running a rally calling on Senator Feinstein to stand up for climate action and support the president’s Build Back Better bill - her CA rep showed up and we had a follow-up meeting with a Jewish staffer. (Part of a Dayenu national campaign.)
Helped create the CA Jewish Climate Justice Coalition
Wrote letters of support for key California bills, with Jewish framing, and submitted them as formal public comment on behalf of the Kitchen.

Create a platform for Rainmakers to support Kitchen-ites to advocate policy change
Rainmakers educate and support Kitchen community to make climate smart lifestyle choices and changes
Integrate climate into our Jewish theology - Contextualize nature. The spiritual imperative of climate justice action
