Jewish Emergent Network is reimagining and reclaiming Shmita as a year to nurture better balance and being, joy, and justice for all. We draw inspiration from the biblical Shmita as a unique opportunity to reset and change course—to rise to the very real and present challenges of injustice, greed, and our growing environmental crisis. We are lifting up issues of climate justice on planet earth, with the values of Shmita as our guidepost.
