Spiritual Help aka “Meeting with the Rabbi”
What is ‘Meeting with the Rabbi?’ and when should I think about doing it?
Maybe you’ve got a lingering question about god or life. Maybe you’re facing the death of someone you love, or you’re grieving someone, or you want to get married, or you aren’t sure if you should get married, or maybe your kid is just asking you questions and you don’t have the answers. Or maybe it is nothing momentous, just a feeling that talking to a rabbi would help. All of these are reasons to meet with a rabbi.
What’s it like? One of our rabbis will set aside some time, listen and, using jewish sources, offer ways to consider your situation. Or maybe we’ll just listen.
We generally meet face to face in our offices, during the day, for about 50 minutes. You can expect up to three sessions (with the same rabbi). We’re not therapists but we do know good ones if it seems like that’s a good next step. You don’t have to be a member but we sure do appreciate it.
Click here and a rabbi will be in touch soon.
