Over and Above: What is חֶ֥סֶד / hesed in our community?
חֶ֥סֶד / hesed, translated as ‘kindness,’ actually means showing an abundance of kindness, one that goes over and above, an unobligated kindness. In this first class, R. Michael Lezak will teach the origins of חֶ֥סֶד / hesed in our tradition, and how we are creating a network of kindness at The Kitchen through our collective acts.
