Passover Shabbat Morning + Hallel

  • Potrero Hill Neighborhood House 953 De Haro Street San Francisco, CA, 94107 (map)

The seder tells the story of leaving Egypt, but the 7th day of Passover? That’s the moment. It’s the crossing—the wild, watershed scene where we go from slaves to free people. And this year, that moment lands right on Shabbat morning, making for a rare and joyful convergence.

We’ll celebrate by singing Moses’ Song of the Sea, lifting up hallel—our prayer of gratitude—with a musical boost from the one and only Aaron Danzig on violin, plus special guest Jim Grippo on qanun (yes, it’s as magical as it sounds).

And the simcha keeps rolling: we’ll also welcome the newest member of the Ticknor family with a baby naming, and finish with a kosher-for-Passover kiddush sponsored by the family.

It’s a Shabbat celebration that doesn’t come around every year—and trust us, you want to be in the room for this one.
