The Miller Intro to Judaism Program

Join our next cohort of Kitchen-ites looking to deepen (or begin) your knowledge of what it means to be Jewish with The Miller Intro to Judaism Program, offered by American Jewish University. The class will cover Judaism’s biggest and most inspiring ideas as well as the nuts-and-bolts of daily Jewish living, welcoming newcomers of all backgrounds to begin or deepen their Jewish journey. Over the 18-weeks (10 AM - 1 PM on Sundays via Zoom) we’ll cover history, holidays, practices, text, and values. In addition, we’ll start with Aleph-Bet (Hebrew alphabet) and either teach you to read Hebrew or help you brush up on your Hebrew skills.

Our teacher will be Rabbi Adam Greenwald of AJU, plus our Kitchen cohort will have the addition of our very own Rabbinical Student in Residence, Chelsea Mandell, to answer any and all questions and lead you through bonus opportunities.

Tuition is not covered in Kitchen membership, however we are committed to making this course accessible so please inquire for more information.
