Next week, the Kitchen Rainmakers will lead a coalition of Bay Area Climate Justice activists in partnership with Dayenu for A Jewish Call to Climate Action. We will gather and sound the shofar in a clarion call to Senator Dianne Feinstein urging her to vote for bold climate action in the climate legislation pending in the Senate, known as the Budget Reconciliation Bill. She must be a climate champion to secure a green, just recovery.

We invite all Kitchen members to join us on Tuesday, August 31st at 12:30 PM in front of Senator Feinstein’s office at 1 Post street, corner with Market at the Montgomery BART/MUNI station for this #HeartheCall action. Bring your shofar, and your mask, and together we’ll give Senator Feinstein the hizuk (courage!) to go BIG on climate, care, jobs and justice when Senators return to Washington in September.
